This week, Nielsen’s research focused on Twitter’s gamers in Saudi Arabia, aged 16-54.
Key finding: 82 percent of people on Twitter in Saudi Arabia are interested in gaming.
Whether it’s to follow gaming accounts, reach out to customer service, discover new tips/cheats for games, or more, 77 percent of people surveyed use Twitter in relation to gaming.
Interestingly, more Saudi’s use their mobile phone/tablet for gaming (74 percent) than a laptop/desktop (66 percent) or even a gaming console (54 percent). In fact, 30 percent even purchased (vs downloading a free one) a gaming app on their mobile tablet.
