Jordan airport announces commercial tenders

Airport International Group (AIG), operator of Jordan's Queen Alia International Airport, is seeking non-exclusive requests for qualifications for a number of commercial opportunities at the airport's new terminal complex. The projects include car parking and valet services, private and common use lounges, food and beverage, advertising, car rental, exchange, banks, and ATM services, transit hotel and facilities, speciality retail and additional services. The new 100,000 sq m passenger terminal is scheduled to open in summer 2012 and will have the capacity to handle up to 9 million passengers per year in the first phase, and up to 12 million passengers annually in the second phase.
