Jordan inks $332m rail project deal

The Jordanian government is teaming up with with a coalition of Spanish and Kuwaiti firms to build a light rail system between Amman and the city of Zarqahas, reported Arab News. The project, which will cost $332m, calls for the construction of a dual-track 26-kilometer railway between the two cities. The consortium is led by Spanish engineering and consulting group, INECO-TIFSA, informed sources said.
