Jordan: Queen Alia airport numbers top 600,000 in July

The number of passengers using Jordan's Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) crossed the benchmark of 600,000 in July for the first time ever, Jordan Times has reported. Airport International Group (AIG), the Jordanian company operating and developing the airport has said that 628,000 passengers used QAIA, compared with 597,000 in the same period last year. AIG has added that the routes that saw the biggest increases in passenger numbers were Madinah, up 130%, Sharm El Sheikh, 67% higher, and Rome, up 45%.
