Complex Made Simple

JW Marriott Hotel Dubai wins two awards at North India Travel Awards 2015

Indian wedding bookings are increasing every year and the banquet halls are often booked several months in advance.

At the North India Travel Awards, held on 8 December 2015 in Crowne Plaza Jaipur, JW Marriott Hotel Dubai won two prestigious awards – ‘The Best Hotel in the Middle East’ and ‘The Best Food and Beverage in Middle East and Africa’.

JW Marriott Hotel Dubai was the first Marriott to open in Dubai on October 6, 1993 and has become an iconic hotel located in the centre of traditional Dubai, a stone’s throw away from gold and spice souks. With its tempting choice of 10 restaurants and bars, a refreshing rooftop pool and fully equipped health club with squash court, the hotel caters to many markets. Today, with the support of Indian senior management team members, the hotel has become very popular with the Indian community.

Be it the simple Indian dishes freshly prepared for The Market Place breakfast, or the authentic flavours of the kebabs and curries at the lunch and dinner buffets, Indian cuisine offered here is enjoyed by everyone.

Indian wedding bookings are increasing every year and the banquet halls are often booked several months in advance. Traditional Indian food with a modern twist is what guests look for nowadays and what the chefs flawlessly cater to.

Famous for catering for large social and sports events, concerts and private functions, ‘Events by JW’ also catered at some of the popular Indian events such as the Shah Rukh Khan concert, the IPL Cricket at Dubai and the Rajasthani cultural program ‘The Manganiyar Seduction’.

“The awards are truly a testament to the team and their hard work, we are very excited to have added these two prestigious awards to our collection of recognitions”, Director of Sales and Marketing Gareth Cummings commented.
