Kia’s MIddle East sales rise 47%

Kia Motors has said the Middle East has seen the highest growth in 2010 with 47.1% increase in year-on-year sales for passenger cars, recreational vehicles and commercial vehicles, Auto Middle East has reported. Global sales hit an all-time high of 2,089,355 units sold, an annual year-on-year increase of 26.5% and marking the Korean auto maker's first time crossing the 2 million unit sales mark. With sales of 403,303 cars sold worldwide, Kia Cerato played a significant role in the sales growth followed by Sportage and Rio with 207,922 and 205351 units sold respectively, Kia said.
