The total number of passengers used King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, since the beginning of this year until the end of October exceeded 18.713 million, official data confirms.
The total number of passengers using King Khalid International Airport increased by more than 1.3m compared with the same period last year, when it amounted to 17.3m. This represents a growth rate of 7.6 per cent.
The number of passengers using international flights during the period since the beginning of the year until the end of October amounted to 8.9m, up by 500,000 passengers compared with the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the number of passengers using domestic flights reached 9.639m, up by 744,361 passengers compared with the same period last year.
King Khalid International Airport is located 35 kilometres north of Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and has three main passenger terminals. Terminal 1 is for international flights, Terminal 2 is also international, but serves Air France, Saudi Arabian Airlines and NAS Air only, while Terminal 3 is for domestic flights.
