Lebanon sees record number of tourists

The Lebanese tourism ministry has said the number of tourists who visited the country during the first eleven months of this year has reached a record of just over two million, AFP has reported. The number of tourist arrivals was 17.6% higher than the same period last year and is "an all time record high," according to Bank Audi's Lebanon Weekly Monitor, quoting latest ministry figures. Arab visitors accounted for about 41% of the total, followed by Europeans with 25%.
