Mazagan Morocco unveils tempting summer offers at ATM

By 2024, international tourist arrivals into Morocco are predicted to total 15,231,000, generating revenues of $14.5bn

In line with Morocco’s Vision 2020 that aims to put the country among the world’s top 20 tourism destinations, Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort, one of the country’s major resorts, has lined up tempting offers for the GCC market this summer from 1st June until 15 September, featuring 6 room categories to fit different budgets.

This announcement was made during the resort’s participation at the 2015 edition of Arabian Travel Market (ATM) that will continue until Thursday (7th May) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).

The Resort is offering 4 nights for the price of 3, or 7 nights for the price of 5, including breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children under 12 in buffet restaurants, in addition to complimentary shared airport transfers from/to Casablanca airport. This applies to the following room categories: Pool view, Partial Ocean view, Ocean view, Prime Ocean view, Mazagan suites (Prime and Executive), Ambassador Suite and Royal suite.

According to the North Africa region expert and President of Mazagan, Stephan Killinger, tourism is Morocco’s top of foreign exchange earner, second biggest contributor to GDP and second biggest creator of jobs in the kingdom. He said summer packages will also incorporate several festivals and celebrations such as the Mazagan Nights, a highly acclaimed series of concerts that feature top pan Arab celebrities.

The World Travel and Tourism Council forecasts travel and tourism sector in Morocco over the next ten years to be extremely buoyant, with estimated growth rates of over 4 per cent annually that significantly exceed growth rates in other sectors. The report added that by 2024, international tourist arrivals into Morocco would total 15,231,000, generating revenues of $ 14.5 billion, an average increase of 6 per cent per annum.

According to Killinger, service excellence is a top priority for GCC tourists, “The first thing we look at when developing an offer for the visitors coming from the Gulf region is excellent service.
