Middle East requires $347bn worth of aircraft – Airbus

Airbus has revised its market forecast for the Middle East region, raising the demand from 1,882 aircraft worth $336bn to 1,921, worth $347bn, between 2011 and 2030, Gulf News has reported. The region's new passenger aircraft requirement includes 779 single-aisle aircraft, such as the A320 Family valued at $57.3bn; 801 twin-aisle aircraft such as the A350 XWB valued at $179.8bn and 302 very large aircraft (VLA) such as the A380 valued at $99.2bn, the company said.
