Ministry of Transport and Communications patronises Project Oman and TransOman 2014

Oman’s infrastructure is on the verge of a huge expansion, with numerous road projects, airports, mining operations, railway networks, affordable housing, human capital to name a few being developed over the next 5 years. With the Omani government focusing on major investments in infrastructure, sources report that the transport sector stands to gain much from the construction push.

Comprehensive short term (2020) and long term (2040) plans formulated by the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) will focus on a clearly formulated public transport model in the country. This transport strategy will take into consideration the ports, airports, railways and various other projects in different areas of Oman.

With the aim of highlighting, while at the same time paying tribute to the upcoming hard & soft developments, ProjectOman 2014-the ideal platform for showcasing Oman’s developing market-will take place from 3rd- 5th June 2014 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre and will address the latest project developments across the Sultanate’s related infrastructure projects sectors.
