New car sales in Saudi Arabia to jump 15% next year: report

According to a report by Business Monitor International (BMI), sales of new passenger car in Saudi Arabia is forecast to climb 15% year-on-year in 2014 to 609,500 units, Saudi Gazette has reported. The kingdom's total new vehicle market should see growth of around 12.6%, to reach 777,212 units, BMI said. Early indications from the first two months of this year show that new vehicle sales are up by 14%, at 121,583 units, the research firm said.
