Nissan Juke inspires runners at The Color Run presented by Daman’s ActiveLife

At The Color Run, Nissan will also showcase some engaging activations at the event, designed to inspire runners to share their creative and colorful snaps on social media.

For the second year in a row, Nissan Middle East and Arabian Automobiles, its exclusive dealer in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, has thrown its support behind The Color Run presented by Daman’s ActiveLife, a fun-filled 5km fun run dubbed the “Happiest 5k on the Planet.”

As part of its support, Nissan will be sponsoring all three of the regional run events that take place in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha. For The Color Run in Dubai, which is taking place at the Dubai Autodrome on Saturday 21st November, the official vehicle is the new Nissan Juke, the Japanese auto maker’s stunning compact SUV.

Fadi Ghosn, Chief Marketing Officer of Nissan Middle East, says: “Following the success of the event last year, we decided to extend our sponsorship to this year’s edition of The Color Run presented by Daman’s ActiveLife. At Nissan we believe that Motoring should be fun and exciting, not just getting from A to B. That’s certainly what the Nissan Juke is all about and why we believe The Color Run is the perfect event to support.”

The Color Run presented by Daman’s ActiveLife is a five-kilometer, un-timed fun run in which thousands of participants are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer.

This is followed by a huge color festival where more colored powder is brought into play as part of the fun and to create countless color combinations. Organizers say there are only two rules – wear white at the start line and finish plastered in color.

The Color Run is passionate about giving back to the community, so $1 of each entry is donated to charity through JustGiving, the world’s largest fundraising platform. Runners can also make additional donations from their personal fundraising initiatives.

To add to the fun activities at The Color Run, Nissan will also showcase some engaging activations at the event, designed to inspire runners to share their creative and colorful snaps on social media.

Selected local artists will demonstrate their creativity by painting outlines on a mural wall board, where runners will be able to throw color powder to create a picture. By sharing their images of the mural using #TAKEASTAND, runners will be celebrated by Nissan for their creativity.
