Qatar Airways has said no to phone calls for passengers who want to talk on mobile phones while on board its flights, reported The Peninsula. The announcement was made in Berlin, citing that voice calls are bound to disturb passengers who look for a relaxing flight. However, text messaging has not been completely ruled out. The European Aviation Safety Agency had recently given the go-ahead for cellphone use on aircraft.
