Qatar Airways boosts its global network capacity

Growing passenger demand and additional aircraft joining its fleet have prompted Qatar Airways to further boost its capacity across its global network, the carrier said. To be phased in from March, expansion highlights include three additional weekly flights to Kuala Lumpur making it a double daily operation and two extra services deployed to the Tanzanian capital Dar Es Salaam, also taking frequency up to twice a day. Furthermore, flights in the Gulf region will increase with three extra weekly services to the Omani capital Muscat with capacity rising to 24 flights each week, while in Europe, the airline is to launch new routes to Bucharest, Budapest, Brussels and Stuttgart.
