Rockwell Automation successfully concluded its participation at the recently held 2014 Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) in Abu Dhabi with an event-wide focus on their modern DCS and comprehensive solutions for monitoring, control and optimization across the oil & gas supply chain.
The premise of engaging in this exhibition is to gain profitable networking opportunities from the wide range of customers and industry’s best suppliers whilst promoting the modern distributed control system (DCS) – PlantPAx.
At the event, experts and top executives from Rockwell Automation, coming from Europe and Middle East, presented a wide range of integrated information along with control, power and safety solutions across the entire oil and gas supply chain. The event also provided an excellent opportunity for the local team to interact with the ever growing number of visitors, meet new clients and strengthen business relationships with existing customers.
“The oil and gas industry requires modern production facilities with much higher flexibility. At this event, attendees were able to see first-hand the smart, safe and sustainable portfolio of Rockwell Automation that can provide solutions to optimize production while enhancing business performance.” said Neil Enright, sales director, Rockwell Automation Middle East.
A. Zak Meziou, PhD, principal consultant, Rockwell Automation, presented a paper on Operational Excellence: Intelligent Diagnostics and Automation for the group discussion entitled: “The Implementation of Model-Based Predictive Emission Monitoring System for Reducing Fuel Consumption and Emissions Output.”
The paper described the implementation of a patented, model-based, Predictive Emission Monitoring System (PEMS) as an alternative to the traditional hardware-based solutions.
vMonitor, now a Rockwell Automation company, displayed its extensive application know-how inclusive of wireless telemetry, hardware, software and the ability to seamlessly integrate solution.
“We’re enabling the Digital Oilfield by providing end-to-end Digital Oilfield Solutions to the Oil & Gas sector” mentioned Thony Brito, regional sales manager, vMonitor, MENA & India.
“We bridge the gap between oilfield service and automation companies by designing affordable, fully integrated systems that capture and send data from the remote asset site to the office, offering compatibility and seamless integration with 3rd party systems and customers’ existing data infrastructures,” he added further.
At the stand vMonitor displayed its reengineering capabilities for the automation industry by developing highly advanced wireless communication solutions for the Oil & Gas industry at significant savings over conventional technology. Their experts demonstrated wellhead, pipeline and remote tank level monitoring along with the artificial lift monitoring and analysis systems such as ESP and Gas Lift Well monitoring and analysis.
Rockwell Automation looks forward to highlight its latest Oil & Gas trends, solution and technology at the 2015 version of ADIPEC.
