RTA receives 2098 ideas, developmental comments

2060 cases signed off, classified as accepted/viable

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has so far received 2098 innovative ideas/developmental comments since HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched the Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis initiative.

This lot comprises 1776 ideas and 322 comments, and about 2060 cases have been signed off (1747 ideas and 313 developmental comments) and classified as accepted/viable.

Commenting on this, Ahmed Mahboub, Director of RTA’s Customer Service said: “RTA attaches great attention to ideas and comments received since the launch of the Smart Majlis initiative as they contribute to realizing our ultimate objective of making people happier in line with the third strategic goal of the RTA, and the direction of our government.”

“RTA is closely monitoring the flow of ideas, developmental comments channeled through the Majlis, and a team examines all ideas, comments that have the potential of improving customer’s service. RTA spares no effort in communicating with clients, be it citizens, residents, tourists and visitors of Dubai in order to identify their needs & expectations and assess them, whether viable or not as they will be subjected to further scrutiny in order to refine, enrich them and make them capable of improving our services. It even goes an extra mile to draw up plans for their expectations and future aspirations to our services,” added Mahboub.

“The Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis has opened to us a broad spectrum of ideas and comments to which we assign top attention in order to realize the objectives of the initiative. The entire process will improve our government performance to the best global standards of serving customers and making people happier,” added the Director of Customers Service.
