Saab set to sell sports car business

Swedish Automobile, the owner of troubled car maker Saab is in talks to sell its Spyker sports car business to US-based private equity firm North Street Capital, in a deal that could see the firm make a €32m profit, the Associated Press has reported. The company had previously reached an agreement to sell the sports car unit to Russian businessman Vladimir Antonov's car building group CPP Global Holdings, but the deal was later suspended.
