Complex Made Simple

STS hosts workshop with Cisco titled “Evolve Your Data Center Network”

STS, the leading company in providing complete all rounded Information Technology (IT) solutions in Jordan and the region, and Cisco Gold Certified partner, hosted an event to promote the latest developments in technology solutions, specifically Data Center Networks, as well the latest inventions and solutions Cisco developed in the respective technological field. The workshop included guidelines on how to implement these solutions in practice to enhance work productivity. It also included presentations about selected Cisco solutions by STS technical experts.

The event, which was hosted at Four Seasons Hotel Amman, brought together more than 150 decision makers from the IT industry, mainly from the financial services and banking, telecommunication, government and health and education sectors.

At the event, Cisco experts presented the latest innovations about “Cisco Unified Computing Systems” (UCS), which is underlined by its simplicity and innovation among the Cisco product and solution range. Building UCS is based on five main principles: a smaller more efficient infrastructure, smarter servers, enhancing resources using Cisco smart servers, quicker server deployment, and finally simplifying management of the system by enabling the entire solution to be managed as a single entity.

This event is considered as one of many events STS has organized for its clients in its mission to promote the latest technology developments and updates.

From his side, Mr. Mohammad Omran, The Network business manager at STS, confirmed that “development of the data center reflects positively on total cost of ownership and on performance efficiency and leads to the success of any organization.”

Moreover, Mr. Bashar Al Emam, the territory business manager at Cisco covering Jordan & Palestine, said: “the partnership between Cisco and STS is seen as a main foundation to reach out to clients in Jordan and the region, and knowing what the market needs in technology reflects, when used, on the success of organizations in all sectors of the market.”
