Sherif Elibrashy, Director of Sales, Tamani Hotel Marina, said: “The number of guests from the Arabian Gulf and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) increased by five per cent this year compared the previous year, while the total revenues went up by eight per cent during the same period. The room rate has risen by 11% this year compared with the previous year. The positive growth reflects the accelerating economic growth across all sectors in Dubai, especially tourism and aviation.”
For the much-awaited Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) which will be held from January 2 to February 2 next year, the five-star hotel has designed special attractive packages that suit the needs of the families, especially those coming from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. The hotel is strategically located for reaching out to all the venues of the DSF programmes.
He said the hotel offers best location for celebrating the New Year and also for watching the world record-breaking fireworks display in The Palm Jumeirah from the balconies overlooking Dubai Marina and wider Jumeirah beach. The hotel is offering organizing special food promotion every month and the current Russian food festival will run until January 8. The Russian food promotion is becoming very popular due to the fact that the number of Russian visitors in Dubai is in substantial numbers due to the severe cold wave sweeping Russia.
He said the hotel’s staff members participated in the Clean up the World campaign organized by the Emirates Environment Group (EEG) in the UAE and took part in the waste collection programme in Nadd Al Shiba.
