“To meet the growth of tourism in the area, new innovative services and technologies are becoming mainstream, such as mobile apps designed for travelers to quickly book a stay, including flight, hotel, attractions, shopping locations, and recreational activities in the Gulf region,” said Al-Khayyat.

“I agree with the findings of the latest tourism Global Trends report released by Euromonitor International that smart technologies reshape regional tourism landscape. For this reason, UrbaCon is very keen to use the latest technology in its tourism services in Qatar and GCC,” Al Khayyat noted.
