UAE hotels report solid performance in November

STR Global has said that hotels in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) have posted a drop in occupancy in November compared with the corresponding period in 2012, Gulf News has reported. Hotels in the region recorded an average 64.6% occupancy at $180.88 average daily rate (ADR), resulting in $116.78 revenue per available room (RevPAR). However, occupancy in the UAE climbed 4.6% to 85.7%, while ADR rose 7.3% to Dhs943.73, resulting in a 12.2% increase in RevPAR to Dhs808.51. In Dubai, hotels recorded a 9.9% growth in ADR to $290.68, the report said.
