Zain Bahrain, the most innovative telecom operator in the Kingdom, recently wrapped up its 2015 Summer Training Program which was housed under its Future University Network (F.U.N) initiative.
The unique training program, which kicked off in July, took in six individuals that were chose based on a careful selection process that assess candidates based on various elements. The program was designed for trainees to be placed in different departments depending on their area of studies, while also working on a CSSR campaign in parallel.
“Our training program is designed to provide trainees with valuable insight from the work environment and gain real-life experience,” said Samya Hussein, Corporate Communications Manager of Zain Bahrain. “Not only do we provide them with training, we focus our efforts in nurturing their corporate skills and preparing them for the job market. More importantly, we are focused on creating an extensive network that boasts a pool of diverse talented youth with strong skills, high values and passion driven.”
The two month program focused on developing the participant’s skills in Project Management, Departmental related skills, Corporate Academics and Decision Making under the guidance of Zain experts.
The youth development program is focused on feeding the minds of students and sculpting their professional skills through teamwork, collaboration, training and practical field work. It also provides them the opportunity to develop projects and develop innovative business ideas and test them against the real world.
