Earlier in the day, Al Meera Consumer Goods Company disclosed the interim financial statements for the period ending September 30, 2011, revealing a net profit of QR51m for the nine months period ended September 30, 2011 in comparison to a net profit of QR42.1m for the corresponding period last year. Al Meera's earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QR5.10 for the period ended September 30, 2011 versus QR4.21 for the corresponding period in 2010.
