BCG Partner and Managing Director joins the Gulf practice

Strengthening its regional operations, Boston Consulting Group's (BCG) Partner and Managing Director, Dr. Klaus Kessler, has recently joined its operations in the Gulf region.

A senior member of BCG’s Financial Institutions, Organisation and Corporate Development Practice Groups, he will oversee BCG’s various practice areas in the Gulf through its offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Having more than 20 years of industry and consulting experience in Europe, the US, and most recently in the Gulf, Dr. Kessler has worked across a broad range of industries.

His areas of expertise include among others post merger integration, growth strategy, due diligence, cost containment and strategic HR management.

For the last few years, Dr. Kessler has helped clients in developing strong internal capabilities to ensure international growth and success.

Dr. Kessler’s appointment will bolster BCG’s financial practice, one of the key focus areas for the consultancy in the region.

Prior to re-locating to the Gulf, he spent six years in South Eastern Europe, building the BCG Office in Athens. He also played an important role in building BCG’s footprint in Bulgaria, Romania, and Turkey.

Educated in Germany, Dr. Kessler holds a Ph.D in Economics/Business Administration from the University of Cologne. Prior to joining BCG, he led the Research Institute for Leasing at the Cologne University.

BCG, which established its office in the Gulf in 2007, is owned by about 500 partners worldwide and employs 3,300 consultants around the globe.
