Bue chip shares pull DFM market slightly lower

The DFM General Index declined 0.69% to close at 1,438.41 points, as Arabtec Construction (down 2.21% at Dhs1.33), Emaar Properties (1.44% lower at Dhs2.73) and the UAE's second telco provider du (losing 1.34% at Dhs2.94). Cooling specialist Tabreed plummeted over six percent. Logistics giant Aramex gained 0.55% to reach Dhs1.83. At the NASDAQ Dubai, shares of maritime port operator DP World climbed above $10 (up 1.62% at $10.06). Some 56m shares were traded, valued at Dhs61.9m.
