The DFM General Index declined 0.41% to 1,458.88 points. Emaar as the most liquid share headed down 0.72% to Dhs2.77. Shares of the UAE's leading bank Emirates NBD declined the most, finishing down 2.44% to Dh4.00. Drake and Scull International fell for the second day straight, close to a six-month low at Dhs0.87 (off 1.15%). Investment bank Shuaa Capital soared 4.65% to reach Dhs0.90. Trading volumes nearly halved as some 47m shares were traded, valued at Dhs67m. Nine stocks gained, 11 lost and two ended even.
