Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa is now accredited as the first approved training center for the Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance UK (HABC) in Jordan; HABC being the world’s leading provider of food safety and compliance qualification and training material.
This comes after the resort’s announcement that it is the first IHG hotel in Jordan & Palestine and the first hotel in the Dead Sea area to be certified with the ISO 22000: 2005 for food safety.
Now, Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa is officially registered to provide HABC training programs that lead to the following HABC qualifications: Level 1 Award in Food Safety for catering, HABC Level 2 Award in food safety in catering (QCF), HABC Level 3 Award in supervising food safety in catering (QCF), HABC Level 4 Award in hygiene for management in catering (QCF), Level 2 Award in HACCP for catering (foundation), Level 3 Award in intermediate HACCP for catering, and Level 3 Award in Effective Auditing and Inspection Skills.
Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa boasts 420 rooms and suites, including one Presidential Suite and one Royal suite. Guests can enjoy the vast pool called The Lake which is 5,500 m3 big, two smaller pools, as well as a soft white sandy beach by the Dead Sea with private cabanas.
