Honda, one of the hallmarks in Oman’s automotive industry, continues to deliver excellence by driving employee competency, measured by General Repairs Training Effectiveness Confirmation (GR-TEC) programme.
The Honda technicians undergo a series of continuous improvement programmes through well-designed trainings and development initiatives. GR-TEC is a state of art International mechanism that monitors and quantifies the effectiveness of the training programmes that are periodically carried out within Honda based on parameters such as people, process, premises and quality.
A three-day long assessment saw the Honda Wattayah workshop achieving an incredible 93%, which is currently the leading score in the GCC region.
Commenting on the landmark achievement, Mr. Hussain Al Lawati, Managing Director Omasco, stated “We take our commitment to provide high-quality products and services to our customers seriously. The top GR-TEC rating is a testament to our highly motivated team who work together in harmony, putting into practice the set processes imparted during the exclusive sessions and on the job trainings”
Mr. Yugo Konishi, GM – Honda Regional Office, stated “At Honda, we strongly believe that market leadership can be achieved by a team that proceeds with ambition and strives constantly for innovation and efficiency. Omasco, continues on the path of excellence and its current GR-TEC of 93% is an inspiring benchmark, to say the least.”
