Jordan received JD2.98bn in loans, grants until September

The Jordanian finance ministry has said it has received around JD2.98bn in loans and grants since the start of this year until September, Jordan Times has reported. The ministry has received JD538m in grants, nearly JD391m in foreign loans and around JD2.05bn in local grants, said Secretary General Omar Zu’bi, noting that the main use of this money was to fund the government central deficit, which stood at JD1.34bn.
