KPMG appoints two new partners

In an increasingly growing economy, KPMG recognizes the need for a diverse partnership to maintain that edge, which enabled KPMG to be one of the leading Audit, Tax and Advisory firms in Qatar.

Constantly striving for success, KPMG recently promoted two of its Directors to the position of Partners.

Effective April, 2008 Rajesh Menon has been promoted to the position of Partner within KPMG’s RAS practice and Gopal Balasubramaniam to the position of Partner within KPMG’s Audit practice.

“Qatar is a key market for us; our successful track record in the market has paved the way for us to appoint two of our most valuable and experienced Partners, who will be based in the Qatar office, with the primary objective of handling and responding to our clients’ needs in that emerging market and to fast-forward our firms’ growth. We are delighted to welcome them to the KPMG Qatar partnership,”

said Jamal Fakhro the Managing Partner of KPMG Bahrain & Qatar.

Gopal has been with the firm in Qatar since 1994 and Rajesh joined KPMG in 2000.
This long journey has given them both great insights and an unparalleled level of knowledge, understanding and experience within the Qatari market.

KPMG is a Global network of professional service firms with nearly 123,000 people worldwide, operating in 145 countries, providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services.
