Lebanese bank owner stole millions

The Central Bank of Lebanon has accused the owners of the private Bank Al-Madina of stealing hundreds of millions of dollars from mainly Saudi clients, reported AFP. One of the bank's owners, Adnan Abu Ayash, took large sums belonging to the Saudi company Al-Rashid without informing associates and transferred them to his own account, said its report. Twenty individuals and two companies have had their assets frozen pending an investigation.
