Lenovo says 2010 profit doubles

The fourth-largest personal computer maker, Lenovo Group, has announced its 2010 profit has more than doubled to $273m as global demand rebounded, Reuters has reported. Global sales rose 30% to $21.6bn, driven by strong demand in China and other emerging markets and a revival in demand by companies that put off buying new computer equipment following the 2008 global crisis, Lenovo said.
