Mahindra Satyam eyes growth in Middle East

India-based global consulting, IT and business services provider, Mahindra Satyam has said its Middle East business has recorded a 60% growth during the first quarter ending June, Khaleej Times has reported. The firm said it is on track to achieve 100% growth in the region in the current 2012-13 fiscal, on the back of new market forays and major projects in the pipeline. "We have keyed in a 180% year-on-year growth in new contracts in the Mena region, and has managed to increase revenues across key GCC countries like the UAE, which grew to 150% and Qatar, which grew by 200%," Bobby Gupta, vice-president and head of Middle East and North Africa, Mahindra Satyam, told the daily.
