QIF increases dividend by 6.6%

Qatar Investment Fund has said it is to increase its dividend by 6.6% after delivering a total return of 19.3% over its last financial year, which helped push costs below 2%, Reuters has reported. The $205m London-listed fund delivered a net asset value (NAV) return of 14.85% over 12 months to the end of June, compared with a 14.18% rise in the Qatari stock market. If approved, the proposed dividend rise from 3 cents to 3.2 cents will be paid next January, said the fund's chairman, Nick Wilson.
