Rosewood Hotels & Resorts appoints renowned Japanese chef

Toshiya Honda, renowned Japanese chef, has been appointed to lead the new Ginza I Chome Japanese restaurant at Rosewood Corniche in Jeddah.

Toshiya Honda, who has worked in some of the most celebrated hotels and restaurants throughout Asia, Europe and America for the last 25 years, joins Rosewood Corniche from his role as Executive Japanese Chef for The Renaissance Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Chef Honda also has experience working for other five star hotels such as the Bali Padma Hotel in Bali, Indonesia.

“Throughout his career, Chef Honda has been delighting customers from around the world with his culinary skills,” said Hans-Peter Leitzke, Managing Director at Rosewood Corniche. “We are looking forward to seeing and sampling the authentic dishes he will prepare for our diners in the hotel.
