Saudi Arabia has no plans to buy euro debt

Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency Governor Muhammad Al-Jasser has asserted that the kingdom is not interested in buying euro zone debt and is not concerned about US debt, Arab News has reported. Al-Jasser has also said after meeting central bank governors of Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain in Doha that the economic situation in the four countries aiming to form a monetary union was "excellent" and that a plan to launch a Gulf single currency was on track.
