Smiths Detection wins SR65.9m order from Saudi Arabia’s key security establishment

Smiths Detection, a global leader in the provision of government regulated systems to detect and identify CBRNE materials has been awarded a major contract worth SR65,911,708m to supply a host of innovative and technologically advanced security equipment to one of the key government security institutions in Saudi Arabia.

In a significant win for Smiths Detection, the Saudi security establishment has selected a wide range of products across diverse technologies including HCVG, the High Energy Cargo Screening; CIP 300, the Car Inspection Portals; HI-SCAN 6040aTix Explosives Detection X-Ray System and IONSCAN 500DT and SABRE 5000 Explosives and Trace Detection Systems. Furthermore, Smiths Detection will also conduct training sessions for the Saudi establishments’ staff as part of the agreement.
