Study says 61% of Jordanian households have computers

According to a survey by the Jordanian government, around 61% of Jordanian households have personal computers or laptops, compared with 55% in 2010, Jordan Times has reported. More than half families included in the study who do not have computers said they do not need them, while 40% said they cannot afford them. About 89% of those who have PCs or laptops at home said they use them for personal purposes, while 15.9% said they use them for conducting work-related activities, the study said.
