Tadawul market slips slightly, but saves 6,700-level

The Tadawul All-Share Index could not sustain its strong advances from Saturday and closed 0.07% lower at 6,705.49 points. While Sabic fell back to SR91.50 (off 91.50), Amana Insurance gained the most (up 10% at SR36.60). Riyad Bank jumped 2.17% to hit SR23.50. Earlier in the day the Saudi lender said that the Banks Board of Directors has decided to distribute of dividends for the first half of 2012 of SR975m at 65 Halala per share, compared to SR825m for last year, which represents 6.5% of the paid capital.
