The ADX General Index dived 2.30% to 3,648.32 points on Wednesday. Real estate bellwether Aldar Properties plummeted 7.82% to Dhs2.24, a 2-month low. Abu Dhabi National Energy Co. or Taqa ended as one of the three gaining shares, closing 2.42% higher at Dhs1.27. Trading volumes remained low as more investors preferred to stay on the sidelines amid rising tensions in the Syria crisis. Some 132m shares were traded, valued at Dhs 270.7m.
