‘Training4Life’ vocational workshops set for Gulf Industry Fair 2015

The Northern Gulf’s leading industrial B2B exhibition will, for the first time next February, feature vocational seminars exclusively tailored to individuals working in the industrial sector in Bahrain.

Comgroup’s ‘Training4Life’ vocational workshops at Gulf Industry Fair 2015 will provide expert insight and live practical experience of two key issues facing the sector and those working in it. These include ‘Behavioural Safety in Industry’ and ‘Enhanced Productivity & Innovation for Profitability in Industry’.

The seminars, organised by Medpoint Design and Events Management in association with Lead Academy, will be conducted in the Gulf Industry Fair exhibition hall by Dr Bill Robb, a leading UK authority on behavioural safety and leadership.

Dr Robb has more than 25 years’ experience in the field, having analysed more than 400 accidents and incidents and delivered hundreds of face-to-face workshops and seminars on behalf of major global organisations across a variety of industrial and business sectors. In addition to the seminars, the Training4Life workshops will feature insight sessions run by Ducab (Dubai Cables), Alba (Aluminium Bahrain) and Bapco (Bahrain Petroleum Company).

Jubran Abdulrahman, Managing Director of Hilal Conferences & Exhibitions (HCE), the organisers of Gulf Industry Fair, said: “The workshops will enhance the vocational training available to support the growth of the industrial sector in Bahrain, which complements the broader aims of the Fair to support the national economy through the provision of skilled human talent.”

Shaikha Noora Al Khalifa, Chairwoman of Medpoint, added: “The partnering of Medpoint and Lead Academy with HCE to offer the Comgroup Training4Life workshops reflects Medpoint’s commitment to delivering high quality, relevant training which improves and enhances Bahrain’s talent pool and labour force.”

The workshops will take place concurrently with Gulf Industry Fair 2015, which will be held from 3 to 5 February at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
