The UAE is home of most of the top 500 global corporations, but "there is still room for improvement in attractting more foreign investments," says HE Eng. Mohammed Ahmed Bin Abdul Aziz Al Shehhi, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Economy. Launching the initiative UAE Investment Map earlier today in Dubai, HE Al Shehhi pointed out that the UAE Ministry of Economy will go on a global roadshow to 11 countries (Japan, China, South Korea, India, Germany, UK, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, USA) in order to present the Gulf state as sound and safe harbour for foreign investors. "All seven UAE emirates will have an equal chance to present business opportunities," Mr. Al Shehhi added. Every emirate will also host an annual UAE Investment Map conference over the next seven years for global investors as Abu Dhabi will mark the debut with a summit from November 9th - 11th.
